Muskegon Charter Boat Association - Muskegon, MI

Purpose:
The purpose of this Association is to promote the Muskegon area charter boat and sport fishing industry by:

1. Providing a coordinated voice on issues affecting the Sport Fishing Community.

2. Developing liaisons with state and federal fishery management agencies to insure the maintenance and the growth of the local fishery.

3. Cooperating with local and state tourism organizations to develop action plans to promote and market Muskegon area fishing.

4. Informing and educating the community on issues affecting the Sport Fishing Community

5. Providing the community a forum to discuss and resolve opportunities and problems in the Sport Fishing Community.

6. Working with local citizens and groups for protection, preservation, and sport utilization of the Great Lakes fishery.

7. Setting standards of conduct to insure the integrity and quality of the Muskegon Sport Fishing Community.
